When the French companies Louis Vuitton and Moet Henessy S.A. merged in 1987, their initials were used for the new company name LVMH, worldwide leader in luxury goods.

About 60 different brands are kept under the LVMH flag dealing with products that range from wine and spirits, watches and jewelry, to fashion, leather goods, and cosmetics. LVMH Watch & Jewelry branch includes the renowned brands Tag Heuer, Dior, Zenith, Fred, Chaumet and DeBeers.

Japan is the second biggest market for LVMH Watch & Jewelry after the US. Its brands have a strong presence all over Japan.
